"Mirrors" Was So-So

My husband and I went to see Mirrors last night. I enjoy thrillers. The last thing we went to see was the brilliant Tell No One, which I have raved about to a number of people.

Mirrors combined elements of thriller, SF and a lot of horror/splatter. I personally would have enjoyed this more had it concentrated on the thriller and SF aspects, and ( Read more... )

I'm to chicken to see Mirrors. Might I recommend Burn After Reading or Righteous Kill (in that order)?
Tuesday is free popcorn night at Regal. We're trying to decide between 3 comedies, 1 animated. It looks like Ghost Town may win out over My Best Friend's Girl and even Igor (the artwork looks just delightful, though).

We LOVED Burn After Reading! I had read the book, and recommend that highly, too.

We have not yet seen Righteous Kill, but it's on the list. Ghost Town looks fun, too.

My Best Friend's Girl looks pleasantly undemanding, but I'll probably wait, see it on cable, and be unable to remember later which of those fluffy Kate Hudson movies it was. It might be just the thing if worrying about economic doom.
