If you were to open a business for your Div III, what would it be? Do you know what you want to do?

Well, that's kind of the problem. I have a few ideas, some of which are more practical than others - unfortunately, I seem to be more attached to the less practical ones...
And I have no idea what I'm going to do when I get out of college =P
As far as my ideas for businesses go, there's the one I'm using for my social entrepreneurship class right now, for making custom bras...and another idea I had is entirely different, and revolves around finding a place to stay open at night so college kids can have somewhere to go, pretty much.

The first idea is better than the second, I think. The second idea sounds fun, but I question its long term viability. Women are always gonna need underwear. :-)

Hehe, yeah, that's why I'm using it for class. We are creating enterprise concept plans...
My issue with that one currently is that I can't actually make any of the stuff. I suppose management is an entirely different skill set which is also just as needed...

From reading this post, I think that you know what you want to do. You just need us to read it and echo it back to you.

You refer to your choices as:
switch over my Division III to Social Entrepreneurship and attempt to actually open a business

follow through with the Russian literature curriculum, do the Division III I don't really want to do

Start the business when you have the support network to fall back on.

I can't help you with the paying job stuff, but if you would like to be involved in projects of various size to get experience with being part of making things go, let me know. I've got a few.

This year probably isn't the best economically for starting new businesses. The only upside is open storefronts to take your choice of, and probably less high rents ( ... )

He the town "gadfly" and often writes on issues of business regulation.
The most recent post is currently "Ghost of Christmas Past #2" There was also a #1. Scroll down, if something else has taken the top spot by the time you look.
