Thanks. I've heard multiple stances on that, because while some consider wisdom teeth removal a dental process, it is "oral *surgery*". I will check with my insurance; though apparently the one that my parents have me on doesn't really work in MA. What fun.

Don't drive to anywhere to get your teeth out. Have someone else drive you. You won't be capable of driving when it's over.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr Rhicard (413-534-3337) in South Hadley. He does not use general anesthesia which means that
1) you are not sick for three days after
2) there is a far smaller chance of complications
3) it costs a lot less

I highly recommend him. He is extremely skilled.

As for dental insurance, you are better off stuffing money in a box every month and using it to pay for dental bills.

If I recall correctly, it was a little under $300 per tooth, but I could be wrong.
