Wed designer companies

I'm looking for a local (to Vancouver) web design company to work
with me to improve the look and feel of Landscape. Do you have any
recommendations?

What do you mean by "look and feel" -- are you just talking about a kind of visual makeover, or a redesign of the site on a deeper level (page layout, information architecture, etc.)?

Initially I'm looking for a visual makeover. The application we
have is quite usable but is a bit drab and ugly. Eventually we'll
be wanting help with fancier things but not to start with.

Hmm, yeah, I don't know. I mean technically my company does some web design but we tend to focus more on the design/UI and then pass the 'look' off to someone else if we can't do it in-house. And those people tend to be giant corporate-world companies that charge silly amounts of money.

what is the scope of this project (1 person company or several people?) and what is your budget?

I'm looking for a place with several people that will be able to
push things through quickly. I'm not sure what the budget is.
