Let me start off by saying that this has been a VERY tough decision to make. That having been said, as it will save me money in the long run as well, I will volunteer to make more room at the party by not attending this engagement. I'll catch you all next year. Have fun for me, everyone.

Fuck that!!! I'll be seeing you all for party time in three weeks!!! Fire up that boat and get out the chess board, Jason. "Get your ass up, it's party time!"

I put in a request to have vacation time to take that weekend off and I found my own coverage because that is my bosses rule if you want a weekend. Now, today, she said that the person I asked to work for me (and I'd discussed this with her before hand) is someone she planned on scheduling for that weekend anyway because of my other co-worker still being out on medical leave. Long story short, I don't think I'll be able to come afterall, which not only makes me very sad, but really pisses me off. That is one less.

I'm sorry that the guest list is getting out of hand. I was wondering if I could come, with my boyfriend? I don't want to be an inconvenience.

No, that's fine, you can come... like I said... I want people there. The issue is the significant number of people who have been invited over the last several months that I found out about after they were already invited. I kept hearing a lot of this: "Hey, guess who I invited...?", and "Oh, I told _________ about it and they're coming," and "Hey, Kallas, this is ___________. He/she going to be coming to the cabin party with us," and "Hey, Kallas we're coming, and we're bringing..."

That's what I have been hearing... instead of "Hey, Kallas, is it okay if I bring...?", or "Oooh, should we tell __________ about it?" or "Kallas, can we try to get ___________ to come out?" and so on.

So, yeah, you can come :)

That makes sense. It's crazy to me that people were just inviting everyone, but they were excited, I guess.

We'll be coming up Saturday night after we go to a birthday dinner for my best friend, and staying through sunday. I will need directions though. I'm really looking forward to it. :-D
