Yesterday I finally got lasik. After years of forgetting my glasses for concerts and performances and ending up watching blurry bits sing and prance on stage, and squinting to see if people are looking at me or even if I recognize the person who might be waving at me, and having built up enough money in my HSA account, it was time for me to suck it

Good job, brother. I'd love to hear how your healing progress goes.

Healing is going nicely. Doc says I can read teh 20/15 line which is one better than 20/20. I can now give myself eye drops. I still have to wear eye shields at night which makes sleeping difficult, but that's not too bad.

Have fun in Berlin this weekend! We're missing flipside as well. : (
