The purpose toward which an endeavor is directed

My new goal is to be in bed by 12. Next week it will be 11:30. I don't get nearly enough sleep and that makes my days long and drawn out. The only thing I can think of during the day is when my next break is so I can take a nap... or I just crawl back into bed when I get home from the bakery.
