An Invitation
The next day Chinen came on the schools TV station and reported the news and events going on as usual during the lunch hour until he was interrupted by an intruder.
“Hey!!!! What are you doing barging in here?” Chinen said getting up from his desk.
“Hey everyone I hope you are enjoying Chi’s announcement, but I’m here to invite you all to a party at my mansion this Saturday!!! Yamada said.
“I told you not to call me that anymore!” Chinen said getting mad.
“Ah I forgot anyway Prez Chi you are invited also.” He said returning the microphone back to Chinen and walking out.
“As I was saying the fall dance is coming up so if you don’t have a date I think it’s about time to find one.” As Chinen wrapped up his announcement the TV’s went blank and the students continued eating.
“I wonder if Chinen has a date to the dance.”
“Hey what did Chinen mean by that?” Miyuki asked looking at Izumi.
“Well from what I heard all of the guys used to be really close when they were little.” She said whispering.
“When you say guys you mean...”
“She means Yuto, Kento, Chinen, Keito, Yamada, and Daiki.” Kana said walking up to them.
“Oh I see.”
“So that’s what it was.” Mimi said taking some of Miyuki’s lunch.
“Hey I was saving that for last." she said trying to open her mouth.
“I see you girls are getting along nicely.”Kento said walking towards the group.
“You don’t need us anymore huh?” Yuto said fake crying.
“Haha you guys will always be my friends she said pulling up two seats.
“So what were you guys talking about?” Yuto said looking at the girls.
“Nothing important.” Izumi answered.
“Oh well are any of you guys going to Yamada’s party this Saturday?” Kento said looking at them.
“No, I have another engagement on Saturday.” Miyuki said looking at her friends.
“Really what is it?” Her friends asked in unison
“Well my grandmother is coming for a visit and I don’t see her very often so I’m going to spend my Saturday with her.
“Aww so sweet can we join you then?” they said.
“So where are we meeting you at?” Mimi asked
“Umm…(I can trust them) you guys can meet me at my house if you want.” She said smiling at her.
“Really we’ve never been to your house before is that okay?” Yuto asked.
“Un, but I have to warn you two. My father doesn’t like boys so he will probably be watching the two of you like a hawk.” She said laughing.
“You know come to think of it I don’t think we’ve seen your parents either.” Kana said placing a finger on her chin.
“Yeah they are always busy, but they always make time for family and friends.” She said smiling.
“They sound nice.” Izumi said looking at her.
“They are. Now we just have to make it through this week to enjoy the weekend.” Miyuki said raising a fist in the air.
Her group of friends looked at her and began laughing.
“What why are you guys laughing?” she said looking confused.
“Miyuki nobody is going to do that with you, you know?” Kento said staring at her.
“Eh! Really? Just this once.” she said looking at her friends.
“Fine” they all said.
“Okay on the count of three one two three OOOOsu” she said raising her fist again. “Hey you guys didn’t do it.” She said pouting.
They all laughed as they raised their fist and shouted OOOOsu.
