It's a Family Matter
Chinen sat in the Student council office looking at all the forms that needed to be completed before tomorrow.
“Only one more day until this dance and the paper work should start slowing down.”
A knock was heard as Chinen asked them to come in.
“Hey President!!” the younger male said.
“What do you want?” He said glaring at him.
“I just came for a visit since I don’t see my older brother as much.” He said walking around the room.
“So what did you want Ryutaro?”
“Nothing, big bro told me to check up on you to see how you were doing.” He said smiling.
“Whatever, tell him he needs to come back here, I’m not the principal!! I’m a student
“But you are doing such a good job running the school Shun said he didn’t need to come back so soon.” Ryutaro said looking at some books.
“TELL SHUN THAT HE BETTER GET BACK HERE BY TOMORROW OR EVERYONE ON THE SCHOOL BOARD WILL KNOW HE LEFT THE SCHOOL IN THE HANDS OF A SECOND YEAR STUDENT!!!!”
“Brother you are scary when you get angry!” he said running out to deliver the message.
Another knock was heard at the door as Keito walked in.
“I see you had another visit from Ryutaro.
“He’s annoying.”
“Chinen I think you need a little break.” Keito said walking up to the table.
“I wish, but If I don’t fill these papers out by today…”
“I understand I will fill them out just go out for some fresh air for a little bit.
“Fine I will be back in an hour.” He said walking out the door.
“Jeez he’s so stubborn.

“I just need a few minutes of peace and quiet.” Chinen said closing his eyes. He was about to fall to sleep when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
“What is it? He said opening his eyes to see a girl standing in front of him.
“Umm I was wondering if you had a date to the dance tomorrow?” she asked
“Sorry I will be too busy to go.” He said getting up from the bench.
“Wait I thought the student council President has to go.”
“Well that maybe true, but I will not be there.” He said walking away.
“I get it; you could have just said no to me, you don’t have to make up excuses.” She said.
Hearing this he turned around and walked up to her making her walk back to a wall. He placed his hand on both sides of her so she couldn’t escape.
“Look I don’t lie and if I was free I wouldn’t go with you.” He said walking away.
“She fell to her knees after hearing those words.
A figure saw the whole scene and shook his head.

I’m back he said walking back into the office.
“I see you are still the heartbreaker.” The man said turning in the chair.
“Shun! It’s about time you came back. I see my threats finally got to you.” He said approaching his older brother.
“No not really the scene I just watched brought me back.” He said pointing to the window.
“What are you talking about?” he said walking to the window to see the girl from earlier crying on the ground. “Why is she crying I just told her I wasn’t going to the dance?”
“You also told her you wouldn’t go with her even if you had time.” He said reminding him.
“What? I did?” he said as he started feeling guilty.
“Yep you better fix this before I cancel the dance altogether.” He said with a smile.
“Fine. He said running out the office.”
“So how’s things been since I’ve been gone?” He said looking at Keito.
“A little stuffy.” He said
“Oh sorry about that. I’m back to stay so you guys go have fun now.” He said looking at Keito.
“Yes sir.”

“He said what!?” Kana said looking at her crying friend.
“Man what has come over him lately?” Kento said looking at Izumi.
Just then Chinen appeared in front of them.
“Hey haven’t you done enough already?” Yuto said.
Chinen said nothing as he walked passed them and grabbed Izumi’s wrist and walked away.
“Hey where are you going?” Mimi called out as the two disappeared around the corner.
“Leave them alone she will be fine.” Miyuki said with a smile.
“Look I’m sorry for what I said earlier I didn’t mean it.” Chinen said facing Izumi.
“Then why did you say it in the first place?”
“To be honest I’ve been under a lot of pressure with the principal being gone.”
“What the principal disappeared!?” she said looking very shocked.
“Yeah but he’s back now so that stress is gone.” He said putting on a smile.
“Well I understand, but you have to do something for me to make it up for making me cry.” She said smiling.
“Anything just name it.” He said looking at her.
“Kiss me on the cheek.” She said smiling.
“Fine” he said as he was about to kiss her cheek she turned her head, but he stopped since he knew she was going to do that.
“I wasn’t born yesterday, I knew you were going to do that.” He said looking at her.
She had a sad look on her face, but was caught off guard when he kissed her on the lips.
“Like I said you just had to tell me what you wanted and I would have done it from the beginning.” He said with a smile on his face. He walked away as the gang arrived to see a stunned Izumi against a wall.
