(Monday 1:30 Downtown)
“I wonder what kinds of stores are around here?” Yamada wondered as he looked at the map in front of him. Hmmmm… maybe I’ll check this one. As he was walking towards one of the stores, he spotted a familiar figure staring at a display window. The figure walked up to him and greeted him. “ Good afternoon Yamada kun how have you been.” “I.. I’ve been good thanks for asking.” He said stuttering. “What brings you here Yamada kun? The girl asked. “I.. was just seeing… what.. kind. .things.. town… had. Yamada said now skipping words. “I see would you mind if I join you?” “Not at all R..Rika san.” Rika let out a little laugh before speaking again. “You don’t have to be so formal just Rika okay.” She said while putting a smile on her face.

Silence filled the air as the two walked around the downtown area. The silence was broken by a screeching noise which could be heard from a street on the other side of the building. Judging by the honking and the noise it sounded like a truck. “What was that just now?” Yamada said finally breaking the silence. “It sounded like an accident or something. I hope the parties involved are unharmed.” She said with a concerned look on her face. Yamada then grabbed her hand and went to a place where they could see what had happened. Though there was some distance between them and the accident, they could see that everything was fine.

“Thank you Yamada kun.” “hmm for what?” “For putting my mind at ease over the incident.” “no problem. He said with an embarrassed look on his face. “Nee can I ask you something?” Rika said while turning to face Yamada. “Am I boring?” she asked with sincere eyes. “No, why would you ask something like that?” Yamada said while looking shocked. “Well compared to my sister and the other’s, I just seem boring.” “I don’t know what would give you that idea, but you are definitely not a boring person. You are a fun person to be around” “You think so?” she said moving closer to him. “Un I know so.” “Then can I ask you another question?” “Sure” “What makes me fun to be around?” Yamada didn’t hesitate for a second and began speaking his mind. “You are kind, elegant, sweet, you make people feel safe, and you are cu.. he stopped before he said the rest of the word. This made Rika raise an eyebrow and ask him what he was about to say. “What were you about to say Yamada kun?” “Nothing ah! Look lets go in here.” He said trying to change the subject. “Un okay, I want to get something to remember today anyway so let’s go.” She said while smiling.
(4:00 inside a clothing store)
“Hey what about these?” Rika said as she picked up matching wristbands. “Un I like it lets get them.” Yamada said with a big smile on his face. The two were about to walk out when they heard a loud sound coming from the back of the store. They peeked to see what was going on and saw a girl hitting a boy who was covering himself with couple tees. Yamada and Rika didn’t want to interfere with a couple argument and decided to leave them to their business.

“It’s getting late I better get the groceries I need for dinner tonight” Rika said while looking at her watch. “Can I go with you?” “Sure it will be faster if I have someone with me.” She said while smiling.

“Ah!!! Look at the time I have to go!” Rika said as she pulled out her phone. “I have to go too!!” Yamada said while realizing the time. “I will see you later Yamada kun.” Rika said as she grabbed the groceries from him and began running towards the bus. “See ya!” he said waving his hand before he too began running towards the restaurant.
