Firefox weirdness
A couple of days ago, I started getting some weird results in Firefox. I've since downloaded the latest 3.5 version and installed it, but am still getting these errors. The problem sites work fine when I pull them up in IE. Here's an example, from one of the links in weather.com ( Read more... ) -

In the process of switching my service from the old carrier (and number) to the new, I just re-did my subscriptions for free SMS alerts from weather.com and cnn.com. These do NOT cost anything beyond whatever text messages cost for you ( Read more... ) -
the San Diego Chicken
...currently called "The Famous Chicken",or, once upon a time, the "KGB Chicken", will be making his Albuquerque debut Saturday night, July 18, at the Isotopes game. :-) Ted Giannoulas pioneered the now commonplace idea of the professional sports mascot in a funny suit (like the Isotopes' own "Orbit"). Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, Whip It, is scheduled for release in October. Could be interesting. :-)
