ok, so I had this epiphany about jesus and his death.... he died for our sins, right? Well we hold this honor so high and juuuuust wonderful, but look at the many others that have died for less: Freedom, justice, equality, and on the list goes. How hard would it be to convince someone to die so that ages upon ages of ppl are not conmdemned to eternal damnation. Seems like it was an easy choice, plus he had years to get used to the idea. Whereas there are others that throw their life into harms way in a split-secind decision for just one or a few people. Jesus dying for the masses is a no brainer. I bet you could find plenty of people in this day and age that would do the same. Yes i know that he was God, but even when that argument comes up (I know not from you) It reminds me of 25th hour "a day on the cross, a weekend in hell, and all the hallelujah's of the legioned angel's for eternity".
