Au Coquelet improved their food AND has a full bar now?!? It's been years since I've been there, but I might have to venture back!

There really aren't any good options in Oakland, either. There's that place near Lake Merritt - but I'd rather go to bed hungry.

Their daily specials are actually quite edible, and they appear to be serving hard alcohol cocktails. It's no Beckett's or anything like that, but it's better than it was say two years ago.
