Oh sweet Googleness! Google Maps has added something that I have long been waiting for. You can now ask for directions and then drag the path around to avoid certain roads and/or add intermediary destinations. Freaking awesome! Particularly useful if you know that a specific freeway gets a lot of traffic during rush-hour.
So on the up-side, I got a good performance review, I have the opportunity to expand my role and knowledge at work, and the IT Crowd S2 started up. Freaking kick-ass on all fronts

I don't mean to be fervent, but OpenID is Good Stuff. Simon Willison, of the Django Project, gave a talk at Google recently on the topic that acts as a pretty good introduction.
