Build a laser and threaten them with it. Then they will let you.

If you need to take care of your prerequisites, especially the basic computer science or math courses, you should look into taking challenge exams. I know that HCC offers them, but I don't know what subjects. You can get full credit for a course without having to take a single class, just self-study.

But yeah, going back to school is rough.
