snow, snow, and snow

That's what we've had for the past 36 hours.  It finally stopped this evening.  I don't know what we technically wound up with for accumulation, but suffice it to say it's over two feet and when the kids go outside and down the sidewalk, we pretty much lose them.  School was closed today and will be tomorrow, no surprise.  The big bummer for me is

Sounds like fun, actually. I just had my fair share of snow last weekend, as well. We went out to Yosemite and did two big hikes during snowstorms. It was great fun.

Hope you get to take your trip out to see family after all. Thanks for the card! I'm sorry to say that we don't have cards to send to anyone this year, but I'll be thinking of you buried in the snow. Happy Holidays to you, as well!
