All Over But The Crying

Tonight I write with a heavy heart. Tomorrow begins the last week of work for the best friend I have ever had. After 24 years as a Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Agent he's retiring. We've been friends for over 6 years. Not a lifetime, mind you, but still, that's a long time. For at least the past 3 years we've had lunch together

I weep with you. I know how hard it is to find a friend at LDWF, and I know how special This Person is to you. I miss him too, especially knowing how important he is to you. But also because he is such a nice guy and was always good to me.

Give him a hearty "ggod-luck" from his Uncle Cliffy ....

Our Special Friend

They've brought him back into the office today for the rest of his last week. OF course it's only to get him to finish a monumental task he started months and months ago; a back-breaking task that should be done by two or three younger men. The Colonel just brought it up to me that "OMG! It's his last week. We MUST do something." Bite me. Will send along your best wishes to him and you KNOW I'll give him that hug. How about a grope, too, just for you??? Guess it's true that good guys finish last...
