A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is leaning against the headboard smoking a cigarette, with a satisfied smile on it's face.

The egg, looking a bit disgusted, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and says, Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question!"

It's barely the middle of June and it's already in the upper 90's around here. We are also 15 days into the 2006 hurricane season. I'm going to be a GRANDMOTHER!!! We went to dinner with my son and daughter in law last night and they told us they're having a baby! I'm so excited!!! Hey, wait a minute . . . I'm only 44 . . . I'm too YOUNG to be a grandmother! LOL

It's happening again. I'm losing another one. My boss, Major D, is retiring. His last official day at Headquarters is day after tomorrow and his last day with the Department is May 5.
