Katrina has come and gone, leaving death and destruction everywhere. I live about 100 miles north of New Orleans and got only fringes. I found out the hard way that my little baby TV doesn't work so I haven't seen any pix of anything but the stories I'm hearing are heart breaking. My best friend Tisha had her baby at 8:07 a.m. CST this morning, a girl named Olivia Katherine. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and is 18 1/2 inches long. Both mommy and baby are doing well, as is daddy. He was a bit choked up when he called but other than that he's fine. Between them they have 4, three of which are girls. Okay guys . . . This week I became a member of the "My Computer Crashed" club. Not at home, thankfully, but at work. The old POS finally gave up the ghost. Not all at once, mind you, it took two days.
