There's a new member of the Leshin family... a 2 year old beagle that we named Watson (after Watson and Crick for DNA according the scientist Jonathan Leshin in this house and not Sherlock Holmes' Watson... whatever, he's just Watson). Cute dog! He really seems like a lapdog based on those pictures. :)

I love having Sadie around. There is a lot of responsibility, but right now I prefer having a dog to having a kid since we still have the freedom to run out of the house for a few hours on short notice. I don't particularly feel like I'm missing anything by not having any children at this point in my life, and our family feels pretty complete with just me, Carrie, and Sadie.

Also, kudos to you for adopting him. It's great that you decided to help out a dog in need.

As of yesterday our lap dog, while still loving to cuddle, has clamined the papasan as his own and is not thrilled to share.

Just be sure not to overfeed him. My dad had a beagle when he was a kid and she was a tubby bitch, NOOTCH!

He has kennel cough right now so he doesn't even eat his whole breakfast. Poor pooch! But we won't overfeed him, we don't want an obese beagle :)

Hey there - nice dog! :)

I didn't know you had a journal here, but in my most recent periodic where's-their-phone-number search, I came across it. Yay!

If I ask for the apple fritter recipe, you should figure out who I am.

So, as usual, we should be in touch...
