american gods fell flat for me. couldn't get into gaiman.

Try some of his kids books, they're fun.
Also, "Good Omens" rocks, you gotta try it!

Imajica is probably the best book I've ever read. My ex and I used to fight over who would get to read it at bed time while we were still working our way through it. When we split, he kept it. Damn the injustice!

i definitely gotta re-read imajica. i remember loving how epic it was. i think it was 9 years ago that i read it. definitely time for a re-read.

You have excellent taste in books, jlly! I heart Dresden Files so hard core.

Might I suggest you check out a book called 'Johannes Cabal: The Necromancer" by Jonathan L. Howard? It's probably one of the best books I've picked up in a loooong time, and I think you'd like it too, given your list.

I knew you loved the Dresden Files, we've spoken of it before. You even recommended The Necromancer at that time.

After hearing your praise, I read an excerpt online and really liked it, I just haven't bought it yet. I haven't bought any new books lately :(
It's at the top of my must read list though :)

I bet if you had a book published it would have been on my list, 'cause you're just awesome like that!

If you write it, they will read. :O
