 Ok i have some how managed to get into something i am allergic to and am covered in hives.  I am unomfortable and itchy... i think it was something i ate or perhaps drank over the weekend.

This post is for my UK friends, is there anything one can get over the counter (aside from piriton and benadryl) that will stop itching and soothe my poor

When I had hives my mum always slathered me in calamine lotion. There's a version whose name I forget which has a topical antihistamine in it as well - ask the pharmacist as they're bound to know what would be best.
