I don't love teaching and don't think I'm particularly good at it.

However, teaching is much more fun than sitting in an empty language lab waiting for the students who choose not to show up.

Let's see if anybody appears for the next two classes....

(Yes, both the other groups turned up, and were active and worked really hard. So that made up for it -- and to be fair, when I was a student I didn't always show up for non-mandatory classes early in the morning.)
