Seriously. Great article! What I've been saying for hoow many years?? Nothing wrong with Hip-Hop infused R&B but it's getting very old and repetitive. But I do believe the backlash is starting. I don't know if the author has heard the latest Maxwell and Sade records. Think those are great signs that the climate will began to change.

Exactly! Look at Mariah for an example, her hip hop influence is just a little too much now. I miss when R&B was rhythm and blues.

I agree with the Maxwell and Sade comment. Artists like them are slowing creeping up with the originality of R&B.
