Another great chapter!

Elias has such a sweet and tender personality.

If only Rose's pills where around for real. XD

Elias has such a sweet and tender personality.

For being such a bad-ass in his former life--and for being a bit of one in his current career--he really is a softie when it comes to Ruby. He simply adores her, which is as it should be ;)

If only Rose's pills where around for real. XD

Amen.

Somehow I completely missed that yesterday was Monday. Huh, well at least I won't have to wait so long for the last chapter.

Ruby is being quite the trooper. You'd hear much more whining and moaning if it were me hurt like that. I think it's a sign of the kind of work they do and the kind of trouble they all get into that all 4 of them are just sort of taking it in stride. Nobody is overly fussing over Ruby any more than she is over herself.

enh. Monday's are overrated anyway, so you didn't miss much ;)

Ruby is being quite the trooper.

I've gifted Ruby with a ridiculous pain threshold. The only thing that really gets her is *shudder* cramps.

I think it's a sign of the kind of work they do and the kind of trouble they all get into that all 4 of them are just sort of taking it in stride.

*nods* It also helps, of course, that Ruby isn't a drama queen. She's not seeking out pity, either directly or passive-aggressively, so everyone's just kind of rolling with it. Which is perfect for her :)

Work is eating me alive this week, so it may be a bit yet before I can get to a proper comments set.

I wonder if Elias ended up on the same meds & tea set in AStG (not to mention Peter)?

Work is eating me alive this week,

*glares at your job (while still being grateful that you're busy, as that means you'll have your job for a long while)*

I wonder if Elias ended up on the same meds & tea set in AStG (not to mention Peter)?

Hmmmmmmm. Possibly? ;)

She’d seen too many people grow enamoured of the painkiller, and had no desire to fall into their number.

That's gotta suck hard, to have to go straight from Tylenol to morphine. She doesn't even have Tylenol 3 as an option?

His leg remained hooked around hers, and she could feel his body’s natural reaction to morning as he slowly came awake.

Hello!

It was going to be agony, but there was no earthly way she’d make Elias help her with that.

They still preserving the sanctity of the bathroom? XD

...smelled the lovely aroma of bacon on the fry...

...and heard the arguing betwixt Elias, Peter and Rose over the appropriate level of doneness...

“You’ve just become part of the test panel for the general population.”

Quick, have her sign a release form.

He looked so earnest doing it; she couldn’t help but smile, and felt some of her weariness lift as he smiled in return.

He's going to be such a good dad.

“Ruby, you’re hurt. I don’t think they’ll think it rude,” he whispered as they heard Rose come back into the small room. It's not ( ... )

Nope. Either/or. *sigh*

They still preserving the sanctity of the bathroom? XD

Absolutely!

...and heard the arguing betwixt Elias, Peter and Rose over the appropriate level of doneness...

Oh yes. You *know* there was sniping over that. In a fun way.

Quick, have her sign a release form.

Press hard-three copies.

He's going to be such a good dad.

That he is.

*is curious*

I totally made that up. Shocking, I know. XD

Awww. She'd do the same for him, every time.

No question whatsoever.

I wonder who your mysterious banner-maker is on LJ?

I don’t know. I should reply to her message and ask, eh? ;)
