Thanks, Ande. It *is* hard, but in different ways than folks imagine. I hardly react to what reads as really sad stuff, because I'm so used to it. But "I never see you" makes me angry, because I'm spending so much of my life doing this. And then I feel guilty, because what should probably make me sad makes me angry instead.

Dearheart, you're allowed to be angry. Only a saint could avoid that, and we're entirely human. I get angry, and frustrated, and sometimes have just wanted to give up because I can't do enough to make it better. What's important, and incredible, and admirable, is that you go on doing what needs to be done in spite of that.
