Call animal control. I mean I feel bad for basement cat but the fact that the thing is living down there (read that as pooping) could make you sick in the long run. Besides if basement cats other choice is to be outside cat in Feb. Id say have the thing picked up by Animal control and put down.

Cats are jerks, Robot Chicken even said so... but a cat you could train or entice to kill rats... that would be worth it's weight in, well- rats.

Anyway, I once had a wild cat run in and thru and down into the basement, we caught it with a have- a- heart and I'll see where it got to.

You know, Dali loved cats- had nine of them at one time.
