Bicycle advocacy: My first link post!

In the style of zarq, I present to you my first (and probably only) post o' links. This is in reaction to a recent hit-and-run accident where a biker was rear ended here In Ann Arbor, and also my personal peeves as both a driver and frequent biker.

right turn hand signals

Not sure I agree with their "better" right hand turn signal - doing that is what got me a broken shoulder (when I unexpectedly had to brake while signaling, and only had my left hand on the handlebars and thus flipped over the front of the bike...)

yeah, I thought the same thing (though no broken bones for me...ow). I always stick with the basic signals unless there's a darn good reason for doing otherwise. My left hand is too uncoordinated to be trusted to steer alone!
