Memorial Day at Arlington Cemetery was an experience in and of itself. We spent the morning in Section 60. Section 60 is the section that is receiving the lastest war dead from Iraq and Afghanistan. Moving across the country might just be the best idea I've ever had. For a second, all of the packing and sorting and cleaning and dumping was overwhelming to me. Now, it feels fantastic. I called in sick today.
I'm not sick.
I just wanted to.
I never, ever, never do that.
But I did today.

Lots to do and all day to do it!

I am pretty great.

I gave my notice yesterday. My whole plan was to deliver the letter to HR and e-mail my supervisor: my hope was that the e-mail would slip under his radar screen (he is very absent minded) and I would be able to surprise him on my last day.
