I'm going to reply to the wonderful comments from earlier when I get a chance but Idol is becoming a bit predictable during this stage, isn't it? It's like you don't even have to see the show to kind of call how it's going to go.

please, get michael out of there. i am so mad he didn't get kicked off and alexis did. i don't care if she had horrible song choices. at least she had a personality and could fucking sing. he annoyed me.

however, i started liking matt this week strangely enough.

Yeah, I thought Alexis at least deserved another go 'round over Michael but it wouldn't be Idol if someone slightly more deserving went home after the worst of the bunch.

Yeah for liking Matt. I'm a sucker for that kind of singer

I'm now ready to say, my favorite this year is Allison. She's just fantastic, even when she isn't.

Yes, Allison is quite fantastic. I enjoyed her performances so much and I'd say it has been my favorite of hers so far. I think she just finally went there.

I kinda love Kris right now. Damn him, he's chosen all the songs I love. I hope he gets to top 5. :)

I think he has the strength to make it rather far. I don't know about Top 5 just yet because he kind of screams Chris Richardson to me... he's good but some others might slip by to knock him out.

I'm really enjoying this season and I think that there's a lot of talent, but I agree that it's been the most predictable yet. I think this is the first time that it's been very clear to me who gets through (semis) or gets the boot (top 13, 11) each week. I think I even called them having a "top 13" instead of 12. I think that the show is maybe feeling so predictable this year just because it's the 8th season. No matter how many changes they make to the show, there are too many things that are staying the same (airtime issues for some contestants, etc.) and it sort of makes everything a foregone conclusion.

And yay for the Megan love! I think she's adorable and I love that she's different. ♥
