My father actually woke me up to tell me that Michael Jackson has passed and I was too sleepy to believe him but now I'm just... I don't know.  I am so shocked that the emotions aren't even seeping in.  His music was such a major force in my childhood and I... I don't even know how to feel.  I send all my prayers out to his family

i found out via twitter 11 minutes after the news got out and sat here in shock for a good 5 minutes or so before i went up to tell my parents.
