I can tell you yes. If I find out that a friend of mine voted for Bush, they then become an ex-friend. That's the way it is with me, and with almost everyone I know here at TTS.
Those people who will cut off anyone who voted for Bush are dealing with their emotions immaturely. Personally, i can't see voting for him, but part of growing up is learning to disagree respectfully. Growing up is also realizing your voice holds weight. People of all ages choose not to exercise their power as a citizen of this country. My own father says he wants nothing to do with politics after this election. The thing is you'll never see change by not acting. That just makes you invisible within the context of our government. People in our age group need to realize that we are inheriting this nation. If we want to receive it in an improved state we need to take actions to improve it now; we need to wake up and look at the big picture.
Brie, no one could have said it better. i see the reactions of some of our peers over this election, and i wonder about the future, because we ARE inheriting this nation. And it deffinitely worries me when i see the immaturity being portrayed.
yeah, I mean, I hate bush, but I'm not going to hate anyone for voting for them. that's their individual right. you can't segregate because of that, but if that's the way you make your choices, go right ahead. you'll be a very lonely person, "monumentalblond."

anyone who moves to canada is a brat. Just because the president that they dont like got elected doesn't mean its the end of the world or that he's ruling their life.
and also if they are thinking of moving to canada because they think a draft will come, they are wrong. Bush said he would not have a draft, Kerry was the one who mentioned it. although there is a good chance that we would have to have some sort of a draft if the war is still going on for another year or two.
