yeah seriously...what could you have possibly said that was bad enough to get you fired? im really sorry, though...getting terminated is hard. On the bright side, sounds like you've made some friends there who you can continue to be friends with :)

That's horrible! What other places did you get applications for?

Marshalls (ugh), NY & Company, Hot Topic, Barnes and Noble...that's all I can think of right now.

I'll also be calling this professor I know to see if he knows any job openings as well as a guy from Channel 8...

*sigh* *bangs head on desk*

I'm sorry Jackie. :(
I know I always am my own harshest critic, so I hope you can try not to focus so much on this and instead focus on what's next. Good luck on the GRE, I'll be thinking of you and I'll let you know how mine goes tomorrow. :) <3

It's like a migraine. I can only ignore it for so long, but it's always right there bothering me.

I'm going to try my hardest to focus on GREs but my motivation has been shot...

Getting fired definitely sucks. Hopefully it wasn't too much of a distraction for GRE's. Now, be optimistic and make it a goal to get a SDCC pass. It might not work out, but it's something to aim for.

Also, I had to apply for a forbearance back in 2008 when I failed to get a job/get back to school. Be prepared to shell out some cash. For some strange reason they want you to give them money to prove you don't have money...it makes no sense.

No, it wasn't a distraction...thank GOD.

Verbal: 490
Quantitative: 640
Writing: 4.0

With other Physical Scientists, I'm above the mean in verbal, below on math (but I'm fine with my score :D), and at the mean with writing. w00t.

yeahhhhh, it's hard to be optimistic with a psycho as a mom. *bangs head on desk*

thanks, Felix!
of course they do that. This kind of stuff never makes any sense.
