Update SasuNaru/PGSM crack-ish fic
--Previous post on the topic--
Crack or not, there are things I will and will not do, even for the sake of humor. I have limits and those same limits would not even allow me to watch the filler episodes, much less use fan-Japanese or obvious cliches in a piece of writing. (The latter may be subjective depending on humor level and even then the characters might give me hell.)
On that note...
I WILL NOT use Japanese when there is an English equivalent of the word.
--This includes insults ("dobe", "teme", "usurutonkachi", etc.), "moshi moshi", "gomen/warii", "arigato" and all that.
--This does NOT include titles, forms of address (-kun, -san, etc,), or terminology that is normally capitalized (Senshi, Youma Taisen, etc.)
I WILL NOT effeminize the gender-bent characters, even when they're female (or uke)
--No matter their physical form, these are GUYS. That's part of the joke. ^_^
--Sakura is allowed to take Naruto on a shopping trip if he gets stuck in "Princess" form, however. XD
I WILL make Naruto have a crisis of the sexual-orientation kind because of Sasuke/Tux/Endymion
--Because Kyuubi's counsel will be a laugh-riot (Rawr, pan-sexual foxes)
--Because conflict is entertaining and blind love without it is boring.
I WILL NOT gender-bend Orochimaru for his role of Beryl
--Ew.
--Aside: The Shitennou have been cast mostly as guys already, but with Nephrite's casting still up in the air and Haku as Zoisite.... yeah. =^.^=
I WILL write this in paragraph-format, not script.
--Probably.
--There's nothing wrong with script format for crack, but I like exposition.
If anyone can think of anything I should add to that list, especially if it's character specific, feel free. ^_^ And mods, if you feel this post doesn't fit here, let me know.
The current cast list is as follows:
Naruto = Usagi/Sailor Moon/Serenity
Sasuke = Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen/Endymion
Kyuubi = Luna (ill-tempered fox plushie!)
Shikamaru = Ami/Sailor Mercury
Rock Lee = Rei/Sailor Mars
Sakura = Makoto/Sailor Jupiter
Gaara = Minako/Sailor V/Sailor Venus
Shukaku = Artemis
Orochimaru = Queen Beryl (heh, "queen")
Kimimaru = Jadeite
Haku = Zoisite
Itachi = Kunzite
Minor characters:
Iruka = Tsukino Ikaku (Usagi's mom)
Konohamaru = Shingo (Usagi's younger brother)
I still need to cast Nephrite and I just realized that I need someone for Gaara/Minako's manager (his sibs?) and the turtle-loving Motoki -- who I just realized matches Rock Lee perfectly. O.o Hmm... Neji for Rei/Sailor Mars instead?
And because this post needs more SasuNaru... Think I should give Sasuke a girlfriend/boyfriend/fiancee like Mamoru has in PGSM? While Sasuke is a lot less personable than Mamoru, it DOES give Naruto someone to be jealous of. XD Also, I may either write or imply smut, simply because, well... I like yaoi? ^.^ Maybe a side bit. *L*
