Season's greetings! I'm full of the joys of spring today. Everything seems to be blossoming about a month early and Durham is very pretty right now.
This was last month:

(Pictures taken in March of a blossom tree against a gorgeous blue sky, and a native English bluebell in the woods)
The view walking into the Science Site this week:
The first bluebells are coming out! Normally you'd expect this in early May.
These are taken with a camera phone, hence the close-ups. It doesn't do distance shots very well.
