Sometime in the early evening, Jeff's PINpoint will start to hum. It doesn't sound quite like a normal PINpoint noise-- maybe it's broken?

When the noise finally cuts off twenty seconds later, a pleasant 'ping' indicates that Jeff has received a new message.

The inbox is empty.

Once again, Jeff's PINpoint bursts into a rush of humming gears. It doesn't last quite as long this time-- perhaps only ten seconds-- but like before, a new message signal pops up immediately afterwards... with no message to be found.

If he happens to check the PINpoint again a few minutes later, he'll discover that a message has silently made its way into his inbox.

The following message has been recovered.

IICNT_______, ___o_! XXe#@E.

Jeff's PINpoint hums twice today, at different times and for different lengths. There are no messages.

There's another burst of humming and a phantom message left on Jeff's PINpoint tonight. Five minutes later, without noise or fanfare, the words finally appear on screen.
