So a hardcore japanese player just quit the game and actually sent me a tell to let me know and also say stuff like it was good knowing you blah blah. I just thought this was weird cause we're not even on each others friends list and i was just running around and I suddently got this tell saying (See you again!) (Retirement).
I figured I must have run by him/her or something and this was why he/she just sent me the tell but I searched and he/she was in jeuno which made it even weirder cause I was like wow this person actually thought about me as someone to say goodbye to as they were quitting?
Anyways, guess I'll give some background info. Back when I was leveling RNG around the 50's I got invited by this person and it consisted of like 3 Highstandard people(Shylph back then) and 2 Bossanova people. Now back then at the time these two ls pretty much dominated HNM, but me being just some lvl 50 ranger I had no idea who these people were and what their ls' were capable of. So yeah this party was just ripping through stuff and like 2 hours later they took a break and stuff and this person was like heres stuff for you. Gave me a bunch of ammo and stuff, which was pretty damn cool. Eventually that party ended, but the next day this person invited me to their little perma again, and we kept going till I got to about 59 but ran outta gil to level =/. Eventually they just ended up outleveling me and I was just trying to get gil to get by. So now pretty much whenever we would see each other around we'd wave and what not. Then one night my friend Zulin(RL friend who quit) was like lets go to see the Behemoth fight! We were like level 65 so this was a big deal for us back then I guess. So we get there and I see all these people that I leveled up with but they're on their main jobs in all this decked out gear and I was just like wow!
Then I get a HNMLS of my own and then we start outclaiming shylph and their leaders start threatening us with mpk and shit but all this time Shermie was still cool with me. Always did leathercraft synths that I needed for free if I wanted but I would just always tip like 50k. K I dunno why I'm writing all this but I just thought it was weird!
I was even left with a goodbye present....
I guess these will be in my bazaar for a looooooong time.
Ooooohh Ninjaedit: I almost forgot the funniest part! Hahaha I guess when Shermie found out about ffxiplayers.com he/she browsed around on it and saw my pic and like asked all these people from my ls if that pic is really me. I guess its only funny if you look at my pic, go do it!
