My transition from my 20's to my 30's wasn't as exciting as it would have been if I had still been living in London. I think that would have almost been the ideal birthday party. The summer is over and I am back at Yale. In a few days my 20's are over and on Saturday I'm flying to Beijing. I'm in a stable relationship and I have somewhat of a grip on my finances for the first time since being back in America. Things are certainly different than a few months ago. I read the other day how happiness is derived from a state of business. Unhappiness is boredom. I think this resonates with my life. This is why I must always be kept busy. My first year of graduate school is nearly complete. We had our studio final review on Friday. Over the next week I need to construct two papers for classes and a portfolio for the school.
