Glad you had a wonderful year! Mine's been blah, but 2009 did have ONE good thing going for it: getting a new doggie! She is too cute for words. (But aren't all dogs?)

My two fave books I read in 2009 were Captivate by Carrie Jones and Repossessed by A. M. Jenkins. I just can't resist quirky books!

Good picks!!!

Actually, our dog is in the "so ugly he's cute" category.
We love him to death, though!

One great thing from 2009, eh? Man, 2009 was a tough year for me. I suppose I'll go with hubby finishing chemo, which is great, even though the finding out of the cancer was not what one might call a high point.

Two great books, eh? I read quite a few early on, but stopped almost altogether once I was hospitalized in October (apart from CYBILS titles, that is). I'll go with two that were new reads for me, and have stuck with me.

KING LEAR by William Shakespeare (again, new to me)
ALL THE WORLD by Liz Garton Scanlon

I'm sorry 2009 was such a tough year for you and your family, Kelly!

Here's to a fantastic new year, full of happiness and health for you and everyone you love!

And here's to more great reading, like KING LEAR and ALL THE WORLD!
