For a long time, I had maintained that I would not vote in the coming election out of my complete lack of faith in the system. I then watched the debates, as they happened. For us, living in Massachusetts, voting is important at the local level more during this election. Obama will win this state - it always votes Democrat.

The questions on the ballot are critical and effect us directly.

Also paying attention to local politics is important. It's where we can make the most difference.

If Massachusetts always votes Democrat, than explain Bill Weld and Mitt Romney. Anything is possible.

Out of the last ten elections, Massachusetts chose a republican for president two times. In 1980, and then again in 1984. I do agree that they will choose democrat this year, though.
