Tortilla soup

I'm trying my first attempt at making chicken tortilla soup in my slow cooker. Hey, now I know what cumin is for.

I've been busy. I'm not making enough money with photography. I keep trying though. It's still fun, and my greatest passion. I hope you will come up for another shoot.

Cumin is the greatest thing since... jalapenos!
I just don't understand Mexican food cooked without it.
Must be a regional thing in the Midwest to not use it?
