Beyond Economical Repair

That's Canon's diagnosis of my camera.

I have to buy a new camera.

I'm not finacially stable. (Bordering on not mentally stable)

Oh that so sucks. Start a paypal fund I am sure 5 dollars here or there would raise enough.

irregardless of your decision to behave contrary to the norm, I was referring to my frustration of being unable to control events that often present themselves suddenly and disrupt my serenity.

I have had the camera for over 3 years, as I started shooting digital at the KC Renfest in 2003. I have taken over 100,000 images with the camera, so I can understand why it might be ready to give up the ghost. It is the only camera that I have, although I knew I should have gotten a backup, the way things have been financailly, I had been placing my priorities elsewhere. Now, I have no choice. I do have access to a friends camera, until I am able to get my own.

Say, your icon reminds me, have you seen The Notorious Betty Page yet?

It is something that a want to do, but I have not had the time or money to go see any movie lately. I don't think it opened in wide release, but I know that someone local has seen it, although I don't know where. I haven't been watching much television either.
