( I've made it no secret that I absolutely despise Rose Tyler in Doctor Who. Okay, that's not the whole truth: I liked her in the first season. I really did. The episode when she convinces the Doctor to let the Dalek live because it only wanted to feel the sunlight really touched me. Then the Tenth Doctor came in and everything changed. It's not really her fault as a character, I guess, but throughout her stint with the Time Lord, she never grew as a character in a way that made me continue to like her. In fact, she ended up pissing me off and now I can barely watch certain episodes without having to rein in my rage (a bit mental since this is just a TV show, but still :p). On with the rage! Spoilers abound!!!! )

Her name is Shirley, and she's my new bias tape maker :3 I tested her out today and I got all giddy and excited because I turned a strip of muslin into perfectly neat and pressed bias tape in less than 20 seconds. I can't have my phone on me at work especially since I lost my holder somehow, so I wasn't too surprised to see I had a couple missed calls. I looked at the number.......and had no clue who it was. After more than 3 years of the same crap job I'm finally getting outta there! I start my new job next week and I'm so freakin' excited!
