I'm the opposite. I hate being around people, but I've managed to bullsheep my way in to getting jobs by acting very outgoing, and friendly.

In the 15 years of temping (that's how I support my travel and photography) it sounds like the client that told your temp service that. Usually, this means you're not what they're looking for, but they have nothing against ya, as to tell the temp service such.

I've had contracts end where it wasn't working out. That was the line they used because while they had nothing against me to a point that they feared retribution. I'm usually a bit more critical, and when it's not working out, I'll tell the client that, but then tell the temp service the client sucks and every grievance I had with them.

The most annoying thing was they wanted me to take a test, which would exemplify what my job was and show if I was up to the task. They didn't even send it to me after they said they would. Shouldn't they at least see if I'm capable of the work through the test before assuming I would be wrong for it. Because, frankly, the job was all research, and I would have blown them away. That's what's annoying. They didn't even give me a chance with the test. But it's okay. On to the next gig, hopefully.

Nope, they probably decided after the interview to scratch ya from the prospect list, and hence no need for them to send a test. It's poor ethics on the side of the company interviewing.

Your interview was what they call a "behavioral interview" I just went through one a week ago, and it sucked. It's personality based. There's a lot of things a potential employer should do but don't.

Sorry for not being optimistic. I've been down this road myself plenty of times when it comes to interviews. Usually, places screen like this when they are overwhelmed byt applicants.

They really need to learn how to read people better, it seems. I could read the HR persons fakeness. It was gross. What's funny is they're like, "We're not a corporate company. We're the antithesis of corporate." BULLS***!
