Goddamnit, Chris. I mean I know he has his reasons but getting Andy to lie about Tonya? I am not the least bit pleased with him.

But ooh, the ending! Is she gonna confront Ben about what she learned?

Chris has his reason--which will be revealed. But they're still not very good reasons.

Thanks for reading :-)

Ok first...I totally squelled when I saw this on my flist. But you are trying to kill me with this story. Poor Leslie. She was so understanding in the bar and then to be kicked in the gut the next day by Andy was just so sad to read. And it's all Chris's fault! How dare he hurt Leslie and Ben like that. Who is he to keep them apart. He is in a relationship with Ann and what about her poor feelings. He is just using her basically. I can't wait for Ben to find out what he's doing and kick his ass. Also I do feel bad for Ben, but he needs to man up and let Leslie choose for herself. Can't he see he's just hurting her more by not being honest with him. And now with her knowing his name isn't even real, I can't wait to see what happens next.

You are doing a great job with this story. Please update soon!! :)

Yeah, in a way Chris is handling the stresses of their situation even worse than poor panic-attack-Ben, but he isn't looking inside himself to realize it, hence becoming a big jerk.

It's fun that I've got you so invested in this. Yay!

Thanks for reading :-)

Ooh, you've thickened the plot nicely! It's very plot-driven, this one, and I'm enjoying it. I'm sure you have diagrams about how it all works, right? Twist, twist, turn. Complications piled on top of complications... Anyhow, looking forward to the next one!

I do love writing plot-heavy stories. And, yes, I do outline my multi-chapter fics. I don't know how I'd keep track, otherwise.

Thanks for reading :-)

Yes--I'm letting these circumstances bring out the worst in Chris, and it's kind of fun.

;-)

I'll explore Chris motives more deeply in future chapters. But yes, right now hate him all you want.

Thanks for reading

Love this chapter! It's great how you're including so many canon references but putting your own twist on them. Very interesting that Chris is doing more to purposefully block Ben and Leslie here. And now Leslie has figured out that Ben isn't who he says he is! I'm on the edge of my seat to find out what she does with that info.

Thanks! I'm having tons of fun playing with the characters and weaving canon references into my own plot.

Thanks for reading :-)
