Great AU twist on Harvest Festival. I know it's not canon, but yay for a handshakey-thing origin scene. But you must resolve all this angst soon. So Part 2 ASAP, please.

Oh man, Chris and Ann ending things just as Ben and Leslie are damning the torpedoes? Ben breaking the agreement he and Chris just made? Chris finding out Ben and Leslie kissed? But then has HAS to trust Ben anyway because who else is there? God. This is just too much to handle. So many lies and half-truths bouncing around.

"They do tend share most personal information with each other." made me laugh really hard, and I can't even explain that.

Ughhh this story kills me in the best way. The tension is insane, and you write the longing between them so well. I love Chris being willing to go along with Ben because the alternative of not trusting Ben would be so much worse. I love Ann and Leslie bonding over their similar frustrations. Thank you for updating and so excited to read more :)
