I've been promising some pictoral Leslie Knope inspired hair tutorials for a while, and the first one is ready to go.

For this tutorial I'm presenting one of Leslie's most notable hair-dos, her Diaphena braided headband.

I don't have long enough hair to do this, but I love it and you should do more!

Well, this is the best thing ever. I've always admired Leslie's hair but am pretty clueless about these things. You should definitely do more. (I especially covet the "casual twist" you mention.)

Thanks! I do like that twist, and it's not that hard.

The milkmaid braid headband style is really cute on you! Fresh and fun.

Yay Hair Club! I love the tutorial, and can't wait to have the length to do this (another couple of months of growing should get me there.) But in the mean time I've been experimenting with some loose forelock french braiding with some surprisingly pleasing goddessy results. Have to try the dutch style next.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that the dutch/french braid would be better for ladies with shorter hair, because you won't run out of hair since you can braid new hair in as you go.

This is amazing! My hair is super short, so I can't personally do this, but I am in awe that you can. It looks great! Thanks for sharing. :)
