Well, no, that's not all. You've got me excited for the future chapters, but this one was heartbreaking too. Ben's clearly going to do something stupid when he returns to Pawnee, and I'm excited/dreading whatever that is.

And I was glad Leslie and Chris got to have a moment, because Leslie is totally the type to put up walls with her friend's exes. And that Chris apologized to Ann. Good for him.

Oh, and I love how Paul was saved by Leslie, but not her breasts. Excellent.

This chapter was excellent just like those before it and the juicy ones that are coming I'm sure! You have woven together such an awesome and epic story, and the characters are so fleshed out and believable. I get so excited when you post an update because I find myself really caring about them and what's going to happen next. Thank you, thank you for keeping this going, I can't wait for more!

I'm so excited to see Downward Spiral Chris--that just fits in so well to this plot. And poor Ben. And poor Leslie and Ann, really. This is so delightfully complicated, but organically so.

Thanks! When depressed-Chris first appeared in Canon I was so delighted, in part because it finally made Chris interesting, and in part because it finally made clear to me the path to take the character on in this fic. Lovely when new canon can do that. :-)
