I LOVE this chapter. I love having Ann and Chris together looking in on them in their own bubble. And I think Ann's feelings are so spot on, it was perfect. Leslie's break down was so in character, and so heart breakingly beautiful. I love how you write Chris in this story, I truly empathize with him. And I love the thing in Chris and Ann's relationship. It feels honest to the characters, and believable the way you write it. This is all beautiful. And I LOVE that we met the bad guy and got inside his head about "loyalty". You smart genius. I'm so excited for more!

What a cliffhanger! I love how you built up each of the different moments that could be how Everson found them! I can't wait to see where this goes next.
