Ok, wow, let me be the first to say this is a phenomenal achievement, and the longest Parks and Rec fic, right? (maybe kyrieanne has written something longer, but I think you win on this). You should be so, so proud, because this story is amazing, truly. So many great character moments, so many awesome subplots, such perfect Andy. The way you wrapped up everyone's stories was perfect. Chris getting back together with his ex? Yes. Ben moving to Pawnee? Yes. You had excellent OCs, too, and I say that as someone who generally isn't into that sort of thing, but you brought in government workers and family members and all of them worked for me. And the slow-burn of Leslie/Ben was just wonderful, and then giving them really important issues like PTSD was great. And the AU was just amazing, but still really fit the characters.

I just really love this, ok? And I'm glad I got to have a small hand in some of the later chapters, betaing it.

Random question for you: what are some good hairstyles for shoulder-length hair?

Thanks so much! I do love my complex plots and subplots and this fic really gave me a chance to go whole hog with that. And your beta reading for the past few chapters was a wonderful help - I was very happy to have you as part of this process.

Thanks for reading and enjoying and commenting and helping!

As to hair-styles: I haven't had shoulder-length hair in ages, but I think that large loose curls look nice, and a half-up do with some volume around the crown could be lovely. I'm also a fan of head-band braids and small accent braids over one ear, and those styles would look very nice on shoulder length hair.

I defnitely have never written anything this long. I think my longest Parks story is half as long as this. She is on a whole different level of awesome.

Wow. I can't believe we won't have more from this story. I'm so glad that everyone got the happy ending they deserved. Thank you so much for all the time and energy you put into this.

Question: If you were casting the movie, who would play Kelsey? Or the witness protection agents?

Thanks so much for always reading and commenting. It means a lot to me. And I really needed happy endings for this group, because this is my happy show! No tragedies allowed (at least not tragedies they can't recover from).

I'm thinking that Piper Perabo would be a good fit for Kelsey, and Gina Torres would be great as Agent Burdette. Ron likes his warrior women.

Wow! It's done! Huge congratulations for getting it done, and such a complicated AU it was. You took familiar characters and put many of them through some highly non-canon experiences and by the end they were still recognizable, which is pretty amazing. I really enjoyed reading this, start to finish. Thanks!

This fic has been an incredible read, I almost don't even know how to write another long comment about my feelings for it. I've always had a weird craving to see Leslie and Ben's relationship play out in a more dire situation, and this fic has done it so beautifully. I just really appreciate and commend the way you've handled them, post-shooting. They've both stumbled on the way to healing and have both made good and bad decisions, and I love that even after they gave in to each other in the last chapter, it wasn't all tied up on a bow. Leslie still feels nervous and Ben still has anxiety. And you gave them even more time to heal on their own. It was just really lovely, and by the end, they'd really earned that happy ending. They worked hard for it. This has been a really amazing story and you deserve to be proud of it :) I've been captivated for over two years now ( ... )

Wow, all I can say is wow. I basically binge-read this story and I couldn't stop myself. This story was unbelievably well done, the character development was amazing. Even though it was an AU it was incredibly in-character, which made it so easy to picture the events unfolding in my head. I just had to praise your astounding writing skills and say well done, so well done, I can't wait to read whatever you write next ^_^
